The International Journal of Organizations (RIO) is pleased to announce a call for papers on the theme: Labor and Society: Exploring Modern Work Environments and Challenges. In today’s rapidly evolving labor landscape, the relationships between work, society, technology, and policy are more complex than ever. We invite researchers, academics, and professionals to submit their original research, case studies, and critical reviews that explore the dynamics of modern work environments and the pressing challenges facing labor markets around the world.

Topics of interest include, but are not limited to:

- The impact of technology and automation on labor markets

- Changes in labor laws and workers' rights

- Remote work and its influence on organizational culture

- Diversity, equity, and inclusion in modern workplaces

- The gig economy and precarious work

- Labor movements and social justice in the workplace

- Mental health and well-being in professional settings
