Abstract

Transmodernity, as new scientific paradigm, represents a new alternative of building knowledge from epistemological, methodological and ontological various schemes. In the field of Organization Studies means rethinking the rationality (instrumental, economist, individualistic, exotelic and eurocentric) to better understand complex phenomena and reassess human life within organizations. Fractal metaphor as a heuristic device of this new paradigm is proposed.
