Abstract
This study deals with the protection afforded to women against poverty and social exclusion by the benefit payment known as the renta activa de inserción. It aims to analyze whether the measure is sufficient and, if it is not, whether it needs to be rethought. To this end, both the general provisions envisaged for women by the renta activa de inserción and the specific regulations for those cases of women who are victims of gender violence are analyzed.
